The Aerodrome is right across Hwy 249 from the Hotel.

Who is eligible for this seminar?

Anyone who was fully registered USA Hockey level 3 or 4 for 2007/2008 and makes application for level 4 for 2008/2009 is eligible.

Who really should take this seminar?

Since you will be graded and passed or failed on your skating ability, you should not take this seminar if your skating ability is not very good.  If in doubt, contact your local Supervisor or local association Referee-in-Chief and ask if you have a shot at passing the skating test for the Level 4 exam.

What do I need to do to prepare for the seminar?

You must review the rule book thoroughly since the closed book test is not that easy.  You should review the Situations Manual also.  You will be expected to know complex rules situations and the proper solutions for those situations.  You should go out and work on skating technique so your are skating at your very best for the Seminar.

What will be covered in the seminar?

The seminar topics will deal primarily with how to handle game situations.  Rules and their application will be discussed in depth.

What does it take to pass the Level 4 Seminar?

You must attain an open book exam score of at least 90 out of 100 questions.  You must attain a closed book exam score of 40 out of 50 questions.  In addition you must pass the skating exam.

What equipment will I need for the On-Ice Session?

For the on-ice session you will need the following equipment:

  1. Ice Skates
  2. Finger Whistle
  3. Full Officiating Gear
